Here's an idea. When you're next at a junction, let a car out ahead of you - but only if it's less cool than your car. And if someone driving a three-wheeled Robin Reliant lets you out first, don't worry about it. It's not personal.

    i did it , many times,, but when i see that everyone i let pass , just slow and stupid and just trying to get forward ==> not anymore

    You should go and drive in Guernsey where there's a whole system called Filter in Turn based on politeness. Whoever gets to the junction first goes, then all others go in turn from each joining road. It's brilliant! Since I've been back in the UK, I've made a point of letting someone out on every journey. It makes you feel good. Also recommend you acknowledge their thank you with a wave of the hand. 04 January 2010, 11:48
